What is The College of Phlebology?

The College of Phlebology is an online portal of information for the general public to learn about venous issues and the appropriate treatments for optimal results.
In order for patients to gain the best possible results from the treatments available, it is necessary for specialists to keep up to date with the latest news and research, and learn the best available techniques for performing these treatments.

Membership of The College of Phlebology falls into two categories:

Member of the College of Phlebology: MCPhleb - which is suitable for any specialist who solely diagnoses and treats thread veins
Fellow of The College of Phlebology: FCPhleb - which is suitable for any specialist who diagnoses and treats thread veins, varicose veins, and other venous conditions.

Both MCPhlebs and FCPhlebs gain access to a wealth of information, including the latest industry news, the ability to put a question to our international advisory board, access to our forums where you can discuss techniques and research with your peers, and our HD educational videos that work on your iPhone, iPad, or Blackberry as well as desktop computers:

Members and Fellow are also found via our Specialist Search which allows the general public to find the specialists closest to them for treatment of venous conditions.

For people who are currently learning the new endovenous techniques and is not ready to perform them yet, we offer a trainee membership which provides all of the benefits of being a MCPhleb or FCPhleb, but they won't be found through our Specialist Search. It is then possible to upgrade to a full membership once you have finished your training.

As with any subscription based membership, we do not expect people to jump blindly into our membership, and because of this we offer a 14 day free trial to specialists. In our free trial you gain full access to all of our learning materials, but are not placed within our Specialist Search.

Full details of membership can be found on our membership benefits page.
